Below you will find all the essential information you need to complete your preparation before the activity.
Packing Lists
Please review the appropriate packing list depending on the type of experience you will be doing:

Hike de un día (Day Hike):

If you have rented equipment from us (such as tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, or other items already included in your plan), you can exclude those items from the list, since they are already provided as part of your booked service.
The lists include both essential and optional items. We provide the full lists so that you can evaluate what you truly need, make sure not to forget what is essential, and also consider additional items that could bring you extra comfort during the experience.
Proper preparation makes a big difference on the mountain.

Park Admission Payment
The park entrance fee for Volcán Barú National Park must be paid through the official MiAmbiente payment platform, which is the government agency responsible for the management of protected areas in Panama.

Important:
If you are only going to hike up and down on the same day → choose Admission.
If you are going to camp overnight → choose Camping only.
Be careful not to select both (Admission and Camping), as the system will charge both fees and you will end up paying twice.
