Light Experience: Enjoy the Adventure, We Take Care of the Load

Would you like to enjoy the experience without having to carry all the weight during the descent? Our Light Experience is designed to make the journey more comfortable, practical, and strategic.

As part of this experience, we provide 80-liter hiking backpacks to organize your gear and belongings. Once we reach the summit, you can place in one of the backpacks the equipment, heavier items, and anything you do not want to carry during the descent.

This backpack will be carried by the guide and then transported by vehicle to the town of Volcán. Delivery time may vary depending on transportation logistics and the conditions at the time, so it may take approximately two days to up to one week.

What about your personal belongings?

Your personal belongings that you need during the journey should remain with you and be kept in the second backpack. In addition, the equipment provided includes dry bags, which you can use to organize and protect some of your personal belongings.

This makes the system simple: one backpack is for the items you do not want to continue carrying, and the other is for your personal belongings.

Luggage Capacity and Organization

To ensure the system works properly, the backpacks’ capacity must be respected. Everything placed in the backpack for transportation must fit properly inside the 80-liter backpack, with the backpack fully closed, using the available space naturally.

Items may not exceed the backpack’s capacity or hang or protrude from the outside.

The Light Experience is subject to logistical availability and weather and transportation conditions at the summit. For safety or logistical reasons, service conditions may vary.

We also recommend that you do not place valuables, important documents, money, electronic devices, or other essential personal items inside the backpack designated for transportation.

The luggage system is designed to help you enjoy more while carrying less. We take care of the logistics so you can focus on experiencing the adventure.
